How Water Can Dehydrate You
When I was younger, I didn’t drink enough water. When I started looking for ways to optimize myself, I learned the dangers of dehydration.
So, I started drinking more water… LOTS OF IT!
The more, the better, right??
I never went anywhere without my bottle and drank tons of water daily! Later, I learned about hyponatremia. This is the fancy term for water intoxication, or overhydration caused by drinking too much plain water!

The problem occurs when you drink so much plain water that you actually dilute the electrolyte concentration in your body, which leads to imbalances!
WTF are electrolytes??
All sports drink manufacturers use this buzzword in their ads as much as possible, but what does it mean?
Electrolytes are simply sodium, potassium, magnesium, and calcium. Adequate levels of these are essential to be hydrated.
If you only increase your water intake as I did, you might be flushing out these essential electrolytes, causing a deficiency and hyponatremia.
Symptoms range from mild discomfort to severe complications, including confusion, seizures, and coma.
Unlike most companies, I won’t stay vague about what electrolytes are or where to get them. As usual, I have a low-cost solution for this.
The (Salty) Solution
Fill a glass jar with about a liter of high-quality pink Himalayan salt for a quarter. Then top off the jar with water, seal it with a lid, shake it, and let it sit for 12–24 hours.
Every morning, fill the bottom of a glass with a tiny amount of this mix and the rest with water. Drinking this on an empty stomach before your morning walk is the perfect way to start your day.

Sole water, pronounced "so-lay," has gained popularity recently as a true wellness elixir. Himalayan pink salt contains all the essential electrolytes: sodium, potassium, calcium, and magnesium. When you dissolve the pink salt to make sole water, these minerals become readily available for the body to absorb.
The Benefits!
As companies can’t patent and sell Himalayan salt, the power of Sole Water is extremely under-discussed and not promoted at all!
Let’s get into all the benefits this salty water can offer you:
Trace Minerals
In addition to the electrolytes we have already discussed at length, this type of salt also includes iron, zinc, and selenium. These minerals play crucial roles in various bodily functions, including nerve function and muscle contraction.Detoxification
An added benefit is that sole water makes you go to the bathroom because the salt pulls water into your intestines and stimulates them to push out toxins from the body. It is truly the perfect way to start your day.
pH Balance
Maintaining a proper pH balance is essential for overall health. Consuming alkaline substances like sole water can help support this balance, especially with a diet high in processed foods and acidic beverages.
Skin Health
Proper hydration and mineral balance are crucial for maintaining healthy skin. Expensive face creams are another way companies try to profit from you instead of using your logical sense to hydrate from within. Imagine never watering your plants and only rubbing water on the leaves. The same is true for your body. You need to hydrate the skin from within, promoting a radiant complexion.
I hope you enjoy implementing this week’s cost and time-efficient strategy to optimize yourself with real hydration.
